The functions of managing the affairs of the Technical Committee 470 secretariat are assigned to Federal State Autonomous Scientific Institution All-Russian Research Institute of Dairy Industry

According to the Order, the Technical Committee will not only perform functions in the field of national standardization in Russia — it will also play the role of a national working body under the interstate technical committee ITC 532 "Milk and milk processing products". In agreement with the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology, it will have the right to participate in the work of the international technical subcommittee ISO/TC34/PK5 "Milk and dairy products", with the right to vote.

Also, due to the Order, it became known who will become the executive secretary of the TC. Larisa Abdullayeva had previously held this position for several years, she was also the head of the standardization group of the Russian Union of Dairy Industry Enterprises (which was responsible for the secretariat of the Technical Committee), Elena Melnikova, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Technology of Animal Products of the Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies, was appointed to the position of executive Secretary of the TC by a new order.

Larisa Abdullayeva told The DairyNews that she has no plans to leave the dairy industry and expressed a desire to help enterprises with standardization, labeling rules and declaration of goods.
