Prices continue to rise at the GDT auction

The weighted average price for dairy products at the 301st GDT auction was 4,630 USD/kg. Taking into account the weakening of the ruble compared to previous auctions, the weighted average price of dairy products in the Russian currency increased by 5.7% to 358.7 rubles / kg, which is 31.4% higher than at the beginning of February 2021.
In total, 28,463 tons of dairy products were sold at the auction, 2.2 thousand tons less than at the previous auction. The number of bidders is 162.
Prices for all products increased at the auction: dehydrated milk fat (+1.4%), skimmed milk powder (+2.1%), whole milk powder (+5.8%), butter (+3.3%), cheddar (+2.4%) and buttermilk (+9.7%).
The next Global Dairy Trade auction will take place on February 15, 2022.
